OPFM Vendor of the Day

Taco Naco KC was founded in the spring of 2019 by Brian and Fernanda Goldman as a local mom-and-pop catering company and joined the the OPFM in 2020 to gain more exposure. Never expecting a pandemic to stop their catering business, they shifted gears and focused on how to promote their business at the farmers' market. The success of their business was so great in just one year they recently opened a brick and mortar location in Downtown Overland Park.

Fernanda, a well-trained, traveled and studied culinary chef from Northern Mexico, was dreaming of starting her own taco stand just for her love of tacos. Brian was working on a project management course for his Masters program and decided to finally begin framing the canvas for Fernanda's creative expression and launched TacoNaco KC.

Quality, gourmet street tacos handcrafted with locally sourced ingredients (many from the OPFM) sits in its core as an inseparable value for all foods on their menu. For Brian and Fernanda, a taco is more than just a delicious handheld food item that everyone craves, a taco is about culture, tradition, passion, expression and love for Mexico and its contributions to the culinary world.

Taco Naco KC tells the story of Mexico and Mesoamerica through its handcrafted dishes creating a relationship based on mutuality, trust and respect with our clients. For Taco Naco KC, its not just about making tacos; its about transporting the customer upon their first bite to a magical voyage through time and space, and capture just a taste of the eternal essence of Mexico.
